There's this thing about waking up early (and going to bed late) that's caught on with me now. It's great cuz devos are still there (though rushed sometimes), and I get a fresh new start (whether good or bad to each day). So, this year's ccf theme is discipline, something which I've been dealing with for the greater part of my 21 years of existence. I guess it kind of catches up to you eventually no matter where you go. I'm excited at being challenged, because, ironically, this year...that is what I need; discipline. Discipline to get things done, to organize my spiritual life, to mange my resources, and the like. So, I'm very much looking forward to what's in store for '04-'05. Going to do my lab now, and excercise some of that discipline ;-)

Discipline is something I've struggled with the better part of my 21 years. Trying to have all your priorities straight and in check is one of the hardest things to do. One of the things that should be kept in mind is we are never alone in the challenge. Both in a sense that God is always with us through our struggles and in a sense that we have our brothers to face the adversity with. It's one of lessons I still constantly struggle with to jam into my head.
